HOW WILL YOU JOIN THE STRUGGLE FOR THE RETURN OF BENIN ARTEFACTS ?

    in Welcome to the Forum

It's a known fact that Benin was invaded punitively in 1897 with intent to plunder the rich kingdom's arts and crafts.

After plundering and burning down the once prosperous kingdom, it's treasures were sold all over the world to museums and royal homes.

Right now BARCO is joining forces and voice with all Benins worldwide and friends to fight for the Repratriation of these Artefacts.

Its the responsibility of BME and Africans to see things in the same way and partner in all area of activities to create their stories, influence their culture and the return of their artefacts that was stollen during and after 1897 Benin Invation.

This is the only way justice can be served in our little world, the return of these precious artefacts will relied Edo people some of pains they have endured since the destruction of their kingdom.
